Prudence, by Runciter
GDPR compliance you can evidence, from day one.
Most small companies know they have to comply and have no idea where to start. Prudence starts you off with the paperwork already written, keeps the record the law asks for, and tells you in plain words what is missing. You answer ordinary questions about how the business runs. Prudence turns the answers into evidence.

The list the law asks for
Article 30 says you must be able to show, in writing, what your company does with people's data. Prudence asks you the questions in plain language and produces that document for you. It is called the record of processing activities, and it is the first thing an authority asks to see.
The paperwork, already written
Privacy notice, data protection policy, supplier contract wording, breach procedure, request procedure, assessment forms. They arrive drafted. Put your name on them, approve them, and they become your own documents.
A short list of what to fix
A supplier handling your data with no contract signed. A notice nobody has looked at for two years. A customer request with nine days left to answer. Prudence works these out from your own answers and gives each one an owner and a date.
An example
A small clinic answers a few questions. Two problems surface.
Northbrook Clinic is made up, but the situation is common. Patient notes count as health data, which the law protects more strictly. One of the clinic's suppliers types up dictated notes from the United States, which means the data leaves Europe. Nobody at the clinic set out to break a rule. Prudence says what the problems are, in sentences anyone can read, and puts a name and a date against each one.

The documents
The documents become yours, not borrowed.
Put your logo on them, approve them, and run your business on them. Show them to a customer, an insurer, an auditor or a regulator as your own. If you ever stop paying, the documents you have already adopted stay yours.
Each document is tied to the parts of the business it covers. Change how something works and Prudence tells you which documents now need another look.
